I will get off the plane on Tuesday morning at 4am, get picked up at the airport and then head directly to a funeral in San Juan, Batangas, for Vilo Ambal, the younger brother of my dear Dr. Violeta Singson who passed away on Friday night. This very sad event is lightened by the fact that his beloved family surrounded him during his final journey.
The Ides are probably having a hard time getting through the next few days - excited to get to our little Elijah and excited to have their daughter, Kat, experience her homeland and reunite with her caregivers. As Kat said to me tonight, "see you in Manila gramma"
Woke up early this morning and asked if a Gramma was in the Philippines yet:) timing all seemed to work out so you could be there for Dr. Sinsong and JoJo could be there for us? Life has many surprises such as this.
