First - our little Katrina was a hit at the Hospicio with people hugging her and tears being shed by one of her godmothers, Ampy de la Cruz. It was a bit overwhelming for Kat - but once we went to the toddler room to wake her brother she seemed to find her calm again.
Elijah was deep in sleep and had to be awoken from his nap. The caregivers gave him a bath, changed his clothes and off the new family went for final instructions.

All of us then went to the office for final instructions. While the caregivers talked to Alicia, Dustin was given the task of feeding Elijah - can't miss snack time and I don't think Elijah has missed many of them.

What a wonderful feeling to see Katrina's ninang, Ampy, well up in tears as she layed eyes on her goddaughter. Much the same as it was for Ramon when he first saw her at the airport.

We are now safely back the hotel after stopping to pick up the essentials for a night of bonding. Tomorrow we will stay on site and take the time to swim and bond. Dustin and Alicia - just so happy that today has finally arrived and this little one has joined their family.
To all of you who have waited for this day - it has surely been worth it and this little one has found his safe haven.
Oh Mareta... Tears of joy for all of you... what a Blessing God has brought you all. What a beautiful little boy and such a gift that Katrina could return to see those who loved and cared for her first-- Enjoy this time- I am so grateful my mom was with me as each of my children joined our family~ So wonderful to see you do the same for Alicia... Life's most wonderful memories. God's peace and safe travels!
